We stopped by for the first time while camping at Yankee Springs State Park. We arrived a little bit before 5:00 and it was pretty quiet, but shortly after 5:00 the place was pretty busy. Two of us had the special, which was their wet burrito. They were good and the chips and salsa very good. The other two had burgers which they enjoyed. Samurai Girl had a good time. Our waitress was friendly and efficient.
Really good spot for food. The staff is cool and nice. The food is super good. I love their chili!

Stopped here once on a motorcycle ride for a beer. The service was great and friendly and the beer was cold. I didn't have the opportunity to eat on this visit but I will definitely be going back to test it out. Food was brought to tables around us the entire time and I can say it looked upscale and delicious! The presentation on every plate made me hungry :)
So it's my third time dining at sands. first time was kabob bucket excellent. Second time was the pan fried walleye awesome. Third time which was today luau burger to die for. Thank you to the entire staff at sands be back again very soon
